Clean, reusable clothing, shoes, accessories, and household textiles give our collection program the best chance to keep useful goods in circulation.

Reusable footwear in wearable condition. Please keep pairs together whenever possible.

What Does “Reusable” Mean?

Items do not need to be brand new. Normal signs of use are okay, but donations should be clean, dry, and suitable for continued use whenever possible.

Good to Donate

Clean and dry · Wearable or reusable · Normal signs of use are okay · No strong odors · Shoes kept in pairs · Clothing from any season · Items packed securely in bags when possible

Please Do Not Donate

Wet or moldy material · Heavily soiled items · Items contaminated with chemicals · Loose household trash · Items with strong odors · Severely damaged or unusable goods

What We Don’t Accept

Please do not place trash, wet or heavily soiled materials, hazardous items, or oversized household goods in donation bins.

Large Furniture & Mattresses

No mattresses, couches, large tables, dressers, or other oversized furniture in collection bins.

Hazardous Materials

No paint, chemicals, fuel, pesticides, or other hazardous materials.

Wet or Moldy Items

Please do not place wet, moldy, or heavily contaminated material inside collection bins.

Food & Trash

No household garbage, food waste, loose trash, or disposable waste.

Construction Materials

No lumber, drywall, flooring, renovation debris, or construction waste.

Large Appliances

No refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, or other large appliances.

Have Something That Doesn’t Fit in a Bin?

Some reusable household goods, electronics, and small furniture may be eligible for our free pickup service even if they should not be placed inside a Goods Recycling collection bin.

A few simple steps help us keep collection sites clean and make servicing easier.

Bag Your Items

Place clothing, shoes, and household textiles in securely closed bags whenever possible.

Keep Donations Dry

Do not leave donations outside a full collection bin or where they may be exposed to rain.
